Ive never seen a wild rat in broad daylight before and I was very surprised it let me get this close. I think it was just a baby. It didn't move a muscle as i slowly got close enough to take the pic. It stayed so perfectly still that after a few mins i started to wonder if it was even alive so i gently nudged it with the camera and it scurried away [link]

I actually saw a wild rat quite close to our house, in the middle of our city. It was sitting on the edge of the road, and the strange thing was that it actually let me pet it for a while, before it ran off to the other side of the road. So, I went home and I took a piece of bread. I went back outside and the rat was still there, so I took the bread and give it to her. And the rat snatched the bread out of my hand and started to nibble on it hungrily. I watched it for a while, before I went back home.
